I'm also looking for all Magic card names. English and German names are no problem, it is easy, I have all the card names in my database. But when I say 'all', I mean all names in all languages Magic cards are published. Especially Japanese, Korean, Chinese (both) are big problems...

MagicCardInfo is for other languages than English mostly incomplete and inaccurate. So it seems wise to get the correct information from other sorces.
Alexis, your links will be highly welcomed if the informations will be free of errors (especially the oldest French editions!).

No, I'm not Hannes from MagicCardInfo, I'm Hans-Dietrich (short: Hans). Also known as PresetM from MWSHQ-Team and responsible for scanning all ever printed Magic cards in all languages in high quality (HQ)... O:)

Hans, I did put together a excell file some years ago with the european languages from different sources to use for finding naming errors between sets and languages.
Pm your email address and I'll see if I can find it.
If you search the forums there should be a topic or two about it.

None of my business but I would suggest you limit your scope somewhat at the start of your project--maybe just English. The fonts for the other languages may pose some special issues for you. Korean changed fonts entirely in their production.

Just a thought.

Hans, if you can not find it anywhere else please drop me a pm and I will manualy type you out the Korean 4th edition. I can put it in an excel spreadsheet if you like. I do not have any of the other Korean sets and I have no abilities in either Japanese or Chinese but my wife's computer is set up to do Korean.

Japanese title font changed four times.

The original style was used for everything up to Weatherlight (including both portals)
It then changed to the fatter, nicer looking font until Kamigawa, when it gained the furigana (small characters) above the kanji.
And then once more in Alara, where it has changed to a smaller font, slightly more stylized, and the kerning is pulled much tighter.

As far as textbox fonts go, they have had I believe 3 changes, maybe 4.
I can't recall sets exactly right now,

If we can consolidate all these sources various members have volunteered, I can make then available through my website, for future reference.
