Anyone have advice on places to buy 2010 boxes in Japanese?
I recently bought a bunch of Zen, and was thinking maybe I should be buying boxes in Japanese instead if the prices are close.

Using online calculator...
14,000Y = roughly $157USD
4,000 = roughly $45
===================
Total of roughly $200
Surely their has got to be a better option then that...considering my last 4 boxes of JP zen I have paid the following amounts:
$130 shipped
$120 shipped
and two boxes at $110 shipped apiece.
Anyone know of vendors in the USA that carry Japanese product? I have bought previously from Coolstuffinc, and Pastime Games. My goal is to get my prices within $10-$15, of a US Box prices--currently that is $95-$105 shipped.

How many foreign language boxes are US dealers allowed to purchase from WotC/distributors?
I would say your best bet is to buy them domestically, as shipping alone from Japan will cause you grief, even if the box price were $90-100ea.

Implode>> You know Mtg is far more expensive pretty much everyware else compared to US, so your best bet is to get them domestically.
Here in Sweden boxes are about twize what you pay and when in Japan 'bout 2 years ago now the low end of what I saw for a newish box was about 12 500. So if you can buy jap boxes at $110 shipped in the US thats way cheaper then in Japan..

My problem is finding a reliable source, was hoping to put some sets together. If someone has suggestions for good places to by foreign boxes in states I'm open to suggestions.agzz wrote:Implode>> You know Mtg is far more expensive pretty much everyware else compared to US, so your best bet is to get them domestically.

WotC ran out of Japanese before the set even came out (well, Japanese for sale in the US market). I ordered 3 cases, and they have decreased the amount we can order for Worldwake.
It's really too late in the game to start trying to get Japanese Zend, the low hanging fruit is all gone.

FWIW, I have VERY close to two sets of Zen w/o mythics with my boxes. Only missing a single Mythic (Loros). I really like for some odd reason foreign cards, go figure.Gryfalia wrote:WotC ran out of Japanese before the set even came out (well, Japanese for sale in the US market).
