Available MTGO redemption sets?

Post by Knutsen » Fri Apr 26, 2013 9:02 am

Hi,

I'm looking for a list of sets which have been available in the MTGO redemption program - but I don't find any overview online. Maybe Google is broken.

Anyone has a list of them (and knows which of them there also available as foils)?

Thanks and greetings

Hi Ulf
There's a topic about them on the forum, but where, this is the question :)

Hi,
I don't have the full list, but it's good to know that redemption price policy have been changed recently.
Starting with the Gatecrash redemption release in March, and for every redemption release thereafter, the handling cost for set redemption will be increasing to from $5 to $25 per set redeemed. We will not be changing the redemption rates for Return to Ravnica or older sets, nor will we be changing the current shipping rates.
So, since the last few years, it was veery easy and quite cheap to get sealed MTGO set, but starting Gatecrash, I stoped my Mtgo redemtion set...

I know you are collecting MTGO sealed sets - what is the 'oldest' expansion you own?

And why is it so hard to find an overview of available sets?! :-D

Finding info on WOTC website is a Real Nightmare, so I think we should make a list here

Well, I don't collect sealed sets, I used to get my regular sets on MTGO. As soon as I receved them, I open and put them into sleeves. I far as I remember, I know that Onslaught bloc was available on redemption.

I have a pair of Onslaught redemption sets, so it certainly went back that far. But I thought it went back much further. I don't think Mercadian Masque was redeemed, but I am pretty sure that by the time Invasion came out you could redeem sets.

IPA was the first block to be released on MTGO. I can't even begin to imagine the value of a sealed foil Invasion set, as a sealed nonfoil Invasion set is almost impossible to find. So few were redeemed relative to today.
