As I finally received the 2 Warp Artifact/El-hajjaj from German Unlimited Edition and German 4th Edition (Thanks Ron ) , I couldn't figure which one was Unlimited and 4Th Edition, but I noticed something immediately, the black coloring in the Skulls on top right is not the same at all, more Black for Unlimited and less for 4th Edition. As I don't have others cards for comparison for Manabarbs/Manahaken, can someone verify if this applies to the Red symbol on top right as well. Thanks
I wonder if this applies at all:
The first promos have apparently experimental designs that were
never used for a normal release. The Nalathni Dragon has the
same red mana symbol as other cards, but the circle behind it is
a weird pink color. The Sewers of Estark uses a black mana symbol
in which the eyes and nose of the skull are smaller and lower
on the skull -- more like a real skull -- and the cracks in the
top of the skull are smaller and farther apart. These two cards
and Arena all have deep, dark border colors, darker than even
beta/unlimited cards. This looks like an attempt to fix the revised
"lightness" problem that went too far.

Hi Alexis,

I don't think that the lightness of the mana symbols determines the edition. This was perhaps just a lack of black ink. With the Warp Artifact only the alignment tells what it is. The easiest way to check: Distance of the "V" from the art frame.

Yeah, sorry. First I had them in soft sleeves with a mark, but I couldn't package them securely this way.

If I recall correctly, the 4th Edition Warp Artifacts that Neuron posted pictures of were slightly miscut at an angle. Assuming he sent you the same ones that he posted, that may help you to identify which of the cards you received are 4th Edition.

Or, post pics here, and we'll look at them.

At GP Vegas 2018, I was with Open Boosters for the opening of a sealed booster box of German FWB.
The Swamp with Drudge Skeleton text is definitely a German FWB card.
It is a common.
It is the Swamp located above Mesa Pegasus on the uncut sheet.

Hi all,
I just checked some of the last edition's promos and saw a mark on a card that I haven't seen elsewhere (down on the flavor text):
Image
(no sticker, it's entirely flat and looks printed). The backside is normal.

The mark on your Valakut Awakening is a printer hickey on the black ink layer.
It's a misprint.
