Summer Ankh, creased

Post by mystical_tutor » Thu Nov 21, 2013 8:17 pm

Need some advice on this card. Looks beautiful straight on but suffers a binder crease on the back.

I know nothing of summer magic. What rares are really rare, or what the effect of this crease has on the value of the card or what it might be worth.

Any information on any of the above will be appreciated.

This belongs to my friend that just unearthed it.

Hi Gary

Can't really help on Summer cards as you know, but a MTG shop sells one NM/Mint for $1199...

My pleasure to help you Gary, even if I'm probably the last person to ask about Summer Cards prices, but at least, you have a rough idea, will try to find the topic about Summer Magic Prices, to know how much they used to sell for on The Bay :) From October 2012, but on a very low price apparently:
Ankh of Mishra ( R) $350.00

If I Really had to guess I'd day it would end at 650 dollars in an auction.

Sounds good to me but I am unable to comment as i have no Summer cards and have never even checked to see what the present population density is thought to be.

Thanks for your input... I'll pass it on.

Yea this card is pretty good .
The crease won't really hurt the price too bad unless your trying to sell it to a purist.
Plus with most cards drying up everywhere I would say most collectors won't care much, I've seen worse by far.
Would say ball park $650 to $800 for that someone who has to have it.
I have enough cards to stack them all up, and commit suicide off the top!
