The only reason I ask is because last time I bought a 12 pack of boosters in a box like this they all turned out to be fakes. So I was just checking to see if they did release them in this format.

Not saying this auction is for fakes.

But if they were they would look great in my collection...

Not that it should surprise anyone but this is new to me. I was playing and collecting at that time but was in Korea at the time with a very small selection of products.

If no one comes up with the info you need Mark, send a pm to magic-belgium as he is a sealed product collector and may remember them. He has been very involved lately and not on the board much so may not see it.

I think they had mini booster boxes at 7-11 if I remember correctly.

Even if you vaguely remember it that is good enough for me :)

Around the time of Mercadian (maybe the next block) we would sometimes hit 7-11 if we ran out of boosters for drafts and they had mini boxes there. I'm sure they were selling them, just not sure what sets they had them for and where my memory is fuzzy...

Sounds like they are a legitimate produce then, which is good to know.

I have one of those boxes, sealed, from 8th Ed. I kind of start to think that it is fake... Most of the fake chinese cards I've seen are from 8th Edition and Onslaught Block. I'd maybe buy this, crack open to see what it is.

My fake booster packs came in 12 packs.

They even have a sticker on them saying (Made in China)

Not now, as GBH confirm the fake booster boxes... I needed that to be fake!! Haha!

Let me know if you decide to bid on it, if not I will put a bid on it (and hope that they are fakes!).

When I won the pictured boxes on eBay, I asked if the guy had any more (Because he took them out of the sealed box so he could post them flat to save money >:-( ) and he did. Maybe this guy has a few more knocking around.

I wouldn't mind a set of boosters if they were fake.

Mark, some time back you sent this to me. It was in with a bunch of stuff we traded and I don't find anything specific you might have said about it. It seems to be what you pictured above--though this says "14 Bag" on one side.
I never did figure out what it was but decided to stash it away.

At least it says made in china :)
