What do you think of Alara's first spoilers ?

I'm not so much of an expert, but I think the cards will be hard to play because of the mana cost and color combinations in the mana cost.

Besides, the abilities are weird.

What do you think ?

Who goes to pre-releases this week end ?

i don't think mana color and combinaison will be a problem.
Don't forget two think :

Every 5 Common land :

And every 5 unco tri-land :

And of course every rare land we don't know yet.

This will leave the path even more clear for multicolor decks dominate the future environments. Mono Red will probably be the only single color decks that should appears in tournaments.

That's bad, I miss the old times with white weenies and mono green decks

No, it has been orbed, there are no more lands than those 2 cycles and the basics.
Also, the cards aren't hard to play at all in Standard, you just have to purchase Reflecting Pools and run them with Vivid Lands.

Any other format you have Fetch lands and Duals/Shocks.

I think he means like, since constructed might be multi-color base decks, birds will be a key card back in standard.
