FTV Exiled Uncut Sheet

Post by berkumps » Mon Sep 28, 2009 2:39 pm

If you look at the sheet closely, you see that there are 9 Balances, and 8 of every other card. What happened with all the extra Balances?

Yah, I commented on this on some thread way back. No clue, tho I can imagine it will be a promo some time. I mean, that's a whole LOT of balances, wouldn't want to waste em...

Maybe they will be inserted into booster packs 5 years from now as "treasures".

Each artist represented was given 50 or so of these in place of proofs (not counting into the print run.. my guess is the sheets alternated that spot to provide the extras for the artists.

Hm, I doubt that. It would be far easier just to print, what, 7 more sheets and cut them up and hand em out. At least compared to changing the sheet a bunch of times.

Seriously doubt that as that would be a LOT more work.

We have a $5 standard tourney at my store on Nov 14. Top prize is guaranteed as a FtV Exiled. But the cool prize is, if we get the 60 people I want to get, I'm giving away an uncut sheet instead, and second gets the FtV..;-)

An uncut sheet of FtV: Exiled was given to the winner of a side event at PT Austin.
I had the pleasure to take a close look to it and pictures just don't make justice to it. :)
