Alpha/Beta sealed event

I have gotten several "feelers" about product and what I might have available.

I didn't post this to sell stuff and being here in Korea I can't check on what I actually have available. What I do know is:

I have NO Alpha boosters that I would sell at this time.
I have a few Alpha Starters. The last one I sold was for 3K+.
I think I have a few beta boosters still.

When I get back to the Springs (and if Kim, Jung-Un hasn't blown it away) I'll try and let yall know what is available here and for what.

But I encourage you to start digging around to see what you might find.

... is still very much a live issue in my mind however I would hate to remind people that there is a crazy scheme to open sealed boosters!

On a side note one of the guys I am in the middle of a deal with does have a couple of sealed beta starters for sale so if you need more product to destroy let me know :)

For possible event items I have the following:

5 Alpha Starter decks
10 Beta boosters.
5 Unlimited boosters.

No, I will not sell them except for the event. I will sell them only at the event and will watch them opened.

I will entertain offers. One starter and one booster per player.

DO NOT waste my time with "Gary, what do you want for...."

Let me know if your interested by sending me an offer. Be advised that the last starter I sold I got 3K for.

Things are getting a little closer now so we should probably find out who is serious about an event.

I am asking only because of requests to me for product. THIS IS NOT MY EVENT It belongs to Nick above in the original post. thus far no one has asked me for his email address to ask him what he has in mind. I will not be finding a place for it, setting a time for it or running it. Actually, I can't even participate as life events are forcing me to be very careful with my funds.

Please answer to this post if you are serious about doing the event.

Of course a key question is product availability and cost. I mentioned before what I have and that people should start looking for stuff other than from me.

After searching all over I have not found any of this stuff for sale except one beta booster on "you know where" for 2K.

The last know(to me) listing of an alpha starter was 4K.

I have 6 Alpha starters and 12 beta boosters that I will part with for the event.
As I mentioned, I will sell only for the event and at the event. I will expect to see them opened at the event.

PM me with offers.

Don't feel I am being negative about the event in any way. I would love to see it go and wish I could participate.

Thank you Gary for helping to get this started. I hope we can pull this off. It would be an awesome way to celebrate the 20th anniversary. I'm not a dealer or Tournament Organizer so help from other members is welcome. I think it would be easiest for us to just use one Starter. Finding boosters to add will only make it harder for people to join. So I guess before we go any further how many people are seriously considering and how many can bring their own product. I'll be "sponsoring" 1-3 additional friends with my own Starters.

I am still interested in this as well, though it would have to be after the dealer hall closes at night. This is my first year running a booth there and from what I hear it will be quite a bit busier than a normal GP.

Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to help with the planning since I'll be swamped until GenCon. I'll watch the post here though and see if it's actually going to happen. As long as we can get 8 people, it seems like an awesome time.

a coverage ( video) of this event will definitly get a huge amount of viewers.

I was very exited, when i watched the Beta/AN/LG/AQ invitational Draft at Worlds in Berlin 2003. I still own a booster wrapper from this event ^^
