Re: Compilation of Manufacture Information for MTG Products
These are the only blister packs I own
The Info I have from the booster pack gives the WOC code as EN 399490001, I will double check that though as they usually end in 0
The Info I have from the booster pack gives the WOC code as EN 963020000
I only got them because I figured it was the only way of guaranteeing that they weren't box mapped or anything like that.

There's a lot of blistered pack (J hook) that exists, from Ravnica till Amonkhet you can find them for every expansion boosters. They exist also for Preconstructed Theme Decks, Starter/Tournament pack and Two Player Starter set. For boosters, they can contain 1, 2 or 3 boosters and they exist in different languages. I have only added the official ones not the ones like your Worldwake booster which is a different case as they are offered by: The Fairfield Company in Des Moines. The Fairfield Company is the leading sports repackaging company in the industry. While the very first ones (Mirage, 5Th Edition, 6Th edition, Portal, Portal Second Age, Starter 1999, etc. were having a WOC number after that the WOC Number was no longer available, but ISBN and GTIN + 2 others numbering. The real problem with blistered pack, is that they have a specific WOC number on the package, and that the product inside has another one (which may be different from the regular Two Player starter set for example) therefore for a collector, both versions are needed. Also another problem is that while the package says Made in USA, the product inside might be Made in Belgium (only way to find out is of course to open it). If you use the ctrl + F function on the first page with the list, that will give you an idea of how many exist, and I will probably add more in the future (there's a lot of them available on the internet).
Example, your Mirrodin Blister pack booster is:
963040000
22296304001 EN
ISBN: 0-7869-3284-8
GTIN: 0 76930 96304 3
Made in USA
Mirrodin Regular Booster is:
963020000
15096302001 EN
ISBN: 0-7869-3282-1
GTIN: 0 76930 96302 9
Made in ?

Cheers, I don't think I will be collecting the boosters in the blister packs but if I come across any more I will grab the information from them.

Hi MarkGlobalBoosterHunter wrote: ↑Thu Jun 29, 2017 5:51 amCheers, I don't think I will be collecting the boosters in the blister packs but if I come across any more I will grab the information from them.
I've updated the main list with info on a lot of them (still working on it). I have noticed that most of them are Made in USA, meaning that the probability of the booster is high to be the same (normally). I don't collect sealed boosters (except few till Exodus), but I collect sealed products of specific Editions, so I'm looking for some of those blister packs for Preconstructed, Starters or Two player starters, and here comes the nightmare out of a concrete example:
Portal Second Age (June 1998) 7
First, updating that topic, I've realized that the English Two Player Starter exists (with and without booster pack).
Now, the English Two Player Starter exists with Dutch rules in Blister pack, here comes the info:
Made in Belgium: English (blister pack "Box" Dutch rules WOC30005)
Made in the U.S.A. : English (blister pack "Starter" Dutch rules WOC30003)
So now, as you can see the packaging is Made in Belgium while the Two Player Starter is Made in the U.S.A.
Meaning the booster inside the English Two player starter Set woth dutch Rules is it Made in Belgium or Made in the U.S.A. , the only way to find out is by opening it, but it belongs to my sealed Blistered collection.
More info on your security tag, while looking for info on blister pack, I have noticed that this tag was implemented on some Blister pack:
As for Booster version Vs Blister pack booster version, I've just verified from one of them: Rise of the Eldrazi.
Blister pack info on the packaging:
ISBN: 978-0-7869-5469-8
SKU: 251840000
UPC-A: 6 53569 46878 3
Info, you've provided for regular version:
ISBN: 978-0-7869-5456-8
SKU: 251820000
UPC-A: 6 53569 46525 6
Now, the question is: If the booster inside the blister pack has different info than the regular one. Is it still Made in the U.S.A. ?

Update to Avecyn Restored
A blister pack version exists:
399580000
22239958000001 EN
ISBN: 978-0-7869-6092-7
GTIN: 6 53569 71454 5
Contents: Rules card.

Made in USA: English, English 6-pack
To be verified: English (blister pack), Japanese 6-pack

Also Berkumps found an error on the 6 packs, it looks like they lifted the French text directly from the larger packs and the contents claim to be 16 cards.

Re: Compilation of Manufacture Information for MTG Products
Regarding the various packaging options for boosters...
I always considered Blister packs to have a cardboard backing and a clear plastic dome glued to the front of them.
Clam shells to be plastic folding packages made from one piece of plastic.
And the cardboard covering to be cardboard sleeves or envelopes.
I think there is a fairly good chance that some MtG products may be found as blister packs and cardboard sleeves so it is probably useful to have a common term of reference. I don't collect either so I have no preferences.
I am going to have a dig through my Avacyn Restored box and see if I have any USA made boosters for the English Language.

Added on the first page. SIX-CARD BOOSTER PACKS have their own subsection so I've added the: Existence: Japanese and Existence: Japanese (Made in USA) there also.GlobalBoosterHunter wrote: ↑Mon Jul 03, 2017 3:06 amUpdate to Avecyn Restored

Regarding the French text, can you post what a regular English six-card back looks like for comparison. Re: Compilation of Manufacture Information for MTG Products
As far as I know these were the only ones available, I think they were made for the Canadian market as I probably got them off Berkumps back in the day.Regarding the French text, can you post what a regular English six-card back looks like for comparison. Do version with the regular English text with the correct number of cards exists ?
I have a couple though so I will go through and see if they are all the same.
Re: Compilation of Manufacture Information for MTG Products
This is an official Time Spiral booster, but sold by a MTG resale company in Germany. This is the one sold by WotC:GlobalBoosterHunter wrote: ↑Mon Jul 03, 2017 11:05 pmI am guessing that this is also not an official product
The barcode on the back is covering a hole in the packaging which I guess is just large enough to scan the barcode on the back of the single booster within. I will have a read of the "Blister Pack" info on the front, cheers.
ISBN: 0-7869-4065-4
UPCA-A: 6 53569 12427 6
First Generation Blister Pack (1 booster) From Portal Second Age with WOC Number, they exist also in 3 boosters inside in French and English with Dutch Rules:
ISBN: 1-57530-659-X
UPC: 7-42818-17031-4

Re: Compilation of Manufacture Information for MTG Products
I am working on a way to look at the various types of crimps so these are just a work in progress and very much subject to change.
Belgium Narrow and Wide Crimps
Visions preview crimp
Traditional Chinese Legions
I still don't think they are useful as they stand but I will look at making them easier to distinguish.

That's great Mark, a visual of the different crimps used over the years would be a plus (hoping there's not that many variations).GlobalBoosterHunter wrote: ↑Tue Jul 04, 2017 5:32 amI am working on a way to look at the various types of crimps so these are just a work in progress and very much subject to change.
