Well it came out prema! What material did you use for the mat itself? I have an idea for a mat but can't find a material I like that would also make a good art medium.ritnecrowin wrote:I've had this idea for awhile now. I had asked Gus (Yawg007) if he would be able to mod a card like this a little bit ago; then I thought.. hmm I bet that'd make a cool playmat.

If you type in blank playmat on Feebay you can find REALLY nice, large mats made out of a material similiar to a mouse pad. I've had my 1st airbrushed mat for about a yr and it has held up VERY well.. the mats are about $10..
I may as well post my first mat to ;)
Here is mine:
Some of the closer detail

Speaking of Glen Angus it dawned on me that some would enjoy this "original art" piece I got from him. It is the alternate art for the Asian Coffin Puppets (I think the card here is from S-Chinese--not sure) and the only original digitized art I have.thulnanth wrote:I especially enjoy the one from Glen Angus... I think he laid it out very nicely and it is interesting to note on close investigation the changes the editor made in details of the card.

Just for the fun of it.
Ran across this in my vault, thought some might get a laugh out of it.
Not sure on the story behind it except that Richard had an idea for a "fun" deck and came up with doing it this way. Not sure if these cards were his or if this was a deck Peter started in order to play with him. When I asked which it was, I got the answer "yes".

A logical question that I should have seen coming. These are the pictures only, cut out of regular Magic cards. No, I have not been able to sucessfully shuffle them (though my wife has no problem as they end up being close to the size of Korean playing cards so she uses the Korean shuffling method). So, of course, the backs are the appropriate chunk of the back of a magic card.l0qii wrote:Are those cards? What's on the other side?
