The filler your talking about has an MTG back so it not being an MTG card is out of the question.ende73 wrote:Ok, I'll have to apologize since I saw a guy open one of these from a Conflux pack before my own eyes (as you know, I NEVER opened even the slightest misprint from a pack myself )Magic61983 wrote:I'm sure that this filler hasn't been messed with and is exactly as I explained. If it was erased I'm sure Gaming Jim would have stated that and it would be considered worthless. I've also looked at the card very carefully and there is no trace of erasing being done to the card. The edges that are on the card are crisp and sharp.ende73 wrote:
Don't want to sound skeptical, but are you sure that's not a normal black-bordered Filler card with two of the egdes erased with a rubber ?!

However, it is YET different !
One side shows the 2 black borders mentioned here, but the other side is like the front of Filler 05 shown on this site, not normal MTG !

I know someone who opened one of these himself as well, also from a Conflux pack. I didn't know this type existed.ende73 wrote:Ok, I'll have to apologize since I saw a guy open one of these from a Conflux pack before my own eyes (as you know, I NEVER opened even the slightest misprint from a pack myself )Magic61983 wrote:I'm sure that this filler hasn't been messed with and is exactly as I explained. I could buy it for € 15, but because it did not have a Magic back and because I did not know about the front, I did NOT buy it.
However, since apparently there are more of these, it should be considered a new type of filler (front = filler 05, back = like filler 05, but with only 2 black borders (bottom & right)).
What do you think valuewise? Should I have bought it for € 15,=?

I finally managed to make a pic of this card I was talking about. It's the right one here:ende73 wrote:Ok, I'll have to apologize since I saw a guy open one of these from a Conflux pack before my own eyes (as you know, I NEVER opened even the slightest misprint from a pack myself )Magic61983 wrote:I'm sure that this filler hasn't been messed with and is exactly as I explained. Front = Filler 005
Back = only 2 out of 4 black borders, and quite narrow too.
It's indeed a new Filler which is not on the site yet.

Very interesting I haven't seen the one you have on the right of that picture yet. Where I am the #5 fillers are very hard to come by I've only seen 2 in person one of which I own. To see a #5 filler with the same features as the odd filler I have I would say that's probably just as rare. It's another filler that isn't on the site yet.

Was at a tournament today and a friend came up to me and gave me the exact same filler (the one on the right with 2 black borders). It was opened during a sha-con-ala english boosterdraft last thursday. It ended up with the tips cards which they were going to throw away. Reason was that you can't tell it's a mtg card.
