[P3K] Collector number misprint

Post by yvel » Wed May 16, 2012 9:14 pm

Hello,
I building a Portal Three Kingdom set, an I saw a misprint on two green cards :

Treined Cheetah and Trained Jackal.
Both of them get a Collector Number #155/180

Image

I checked on other scans, but it's look like all other card get the same Number.
So the question, does this card exist with the correct collector number ?

I have also a complet basic land set with the 15 lands with the same collector number... Have you heard about this ?

See you
Jon

I checked my English set and the two green cards have the same collector number as yours. Scans on magiccards.info have the same number too.
My basic lands have their own collector number though.

There were a lot of numbering errors in the Japanese set as well. The japanese errors were never fixed, so I'm going to assume neither were the english ones

In English Trained Jackal (155) should be 154 and Trip Wire (154) should be 156. Trained Cheetah has the correct number, 155.

All the Japanese lands have the number 166/189. The other languages are numbered correctly (at least in the ones I have).

The Japanese set pretty much betrays that "burning of Xinye" was a late-stage rename because the japanese card is named "wildfire" and the red cards are numbered as if there was an extra card in the "W" section.
