yup this came from ebay, thought I made a good deal as the item was listed on ebay france and there is not a lot of crimp collectors in france, but if you talk to me about int' ppl bidding on this that's a bit different.
Anyway telling me the value is the value I paid for it doesnt make my day :)
So you guys would have paid cheaper for it ?

We would have paid arround what you paid ... It s all the same story when it come to bids : the one that puted 100 could also put 102 or 102.66 ...
I think we all 3 bided arround what we think it worth : arround 100 euros.
But you won and we lost ...
Don t worry though, It s not a big deal. It happened to me to bid 4-6 times what a card worth if i realy want the card ... When this happen you pray that there is not someone as crazy as you bidding :-O
Here, we don t realy want the card but it s a "cool" card : Who has one crimped vesuvan beta ? not much poeple.
I guess Knutsen is red (1042), you see me and you won ...

I feel a little bit of love for this card because it s rare, it s a vesuvan, it s MTG factory that destroyed it ...
That s why i feel a little bit of pain when i see you just bought it to make some money on it 24 hours later.
For me it was a bit of love, it s just love vs business ...
It doesn t match, it s always a pain
I think the value you paid is arround what it worth : because it s "cool" but it s also destroyed ... So it s not like if the card was PSA 10.
I don t think you will make a lot of money on this card, at least in the next couple of month.
If you want to get rid of it because you can t make money on it, i would buy it back and you won t see it for sell for a while

I didn't really buy it to make money on it, i'm just not on crimped cards but i have a fair "little" collection of 15 fbb vesuvan and a beta one. The card is gorgeous and in a very nice shape, I didn't think I would win with such a price.
Then that's why I came asking if this was a good deal because in france, very very few people are collecting crimps (I was more than happy when gunsligah bought my crimps), or I don't know these people.

No offense, I was not taking offers on the website, just trying to have a legitimate estimation of a card I had the feeling to have paid a low price (still think 100 bucks is not very expensive but that's only based on the price one should offer for it).
I guess posting message just after having won the card was not really diplomatic ...!

PS : that's a clean desktop tromagic :)

I bidded hard on this one.
Also, there was also a nice time walk, the back was in less good shape ... but already i regret i didn t bid more ....
