Sealed 6x9 packs

There were some 6x9 sealed packs on eBay this week: Icy Manipulator, Library of Alexandria and Necropotence. How rare are these? Any idea what they are worth? I bid what I was willing to pay, and was just barely outbid at the last minute which makes me think demand is low, but desire is high among people who collect these. Does anyone here have experience buying sealed 6x9 packs?

I believe these packs had more than just the top card in them. Each pack had 6 cards, and each arena season had a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 2 participation prizes. So each pack had 1 of each of these cards. So the 1st place prize was visible on the top of the pack, but I believe the pack contained the entire set from the Radiant Season 97, or Autumn Season 97, etc...

Wheel of Fortune (2nd)
Erhnam Djinn (3rd & 4th)
2x Balduvian Horde (participation)

Summer 97
Library of Alexandria (1st)
Vesuvan Doppelganger (2nd)
Fallen Angel (3rd & 4th)

Autumn 97
Necropotence (1st)
Ivory Tower (2nd)
Guardian Beast (3rd & 4th)
2x Lhurgoyf (participation)

As for value, they seemed to have ended at $6-$8 per card, so that is reasonable, considering you are getting the whole set from that season.

They would have gone higher if I had been anywhere near a computer. I got hung up and didn't get home in time.

That's what I'm saying. I would have gone higher too if I was serious about completing my 6x9 set. I think the winners got a good deal. Plus I think sealed packs are almost unheard of.

yes, i know i do. in addition to the new ones i also have mirror universe, adakar wastes, and basic land packs with plains and forest on top. i was wondering who else collects these.

I don't collect them, but I have some packs of basic lands, and maybe karplusan forest and adarkar wastes.

Having 4 sealed packs of 4 different arena seasons is wicked btw!

I have a bunch, some completely sealed, some still in their packaging but foolishly (?) opened so the owners could see what they had.

I have sealed packs of 10 Karplusan Forest, 10 Adarkar Wastes x3 and 10 basic lands (2 of each). These are open for trade or sale if anyone is interested.

I own quite a few sealed packs, both land and otherwise. I have been collecting them for years. Still looking for my first Cursed Scroll!

I have a bunch of sealed packs - but I'm only about 30 cards short of having a players set of 6 X 9 cards, 4 of every regular card by art, plus 20 of every land. I can't remember which of the series I have sealed packs of, but I know I have many of the basic lands, and I think I have multiples of the Ice Age lands as well.

Do you have any of the Radiant '99 cards? I've been trying to find Cursed Scroll for years.
