the original art is not digital. It was done as for serra in 10th as an option or something like that I believe.
I have mailed with the current (then) owner but I did not ask what he wanted for it (nor if it was for sale, but everything is at the right price so..)

It was on comicartfans.com before but I dont remember who owned it.
I also think its quite a big piece. My gues is you could add a zero to that number and still be correct.

I believe Jenara is still available from the artist if you looking for an angel. I highly doubt you'll be able to pry the Baneslayer from the owners hands. Usually when someone buys a piece of art they keep it for a very very long time. I remember trying to purchase the Exalted Angel from Rob Alexander and that was $4000.

My suggestion is find the artists name Google them and send them an e-mail.

yeah you are probably right...but the arts probably already gone though unless they keep track of who has it? Is there a site with magic arts people selling?

You'd be surprised the Battlegrace Angel artist had his original art that I purchased recently.

Adarkar valkyrie, empyrial archangel, twilight shepherd, Iona, reya, serra advocate....

Side question... can the artist proofs be re-made upon request or when they are gone they are gone? thinking of starting collecting 1 artist proof per angel in my collection but if it is too hard i migth give up heh...

I'm 99% sure Iona is digital.

Art proofs are printed by WOTC and given to artists as part of payment. When a card gets reprinted the artist tends to get additional AP's from the new set.

If you ask someone for a specific piece this will auto increase the value of that piece which you're inquiring. It's better to ask them what they have, tell them you're a fan, build some repor. If you ask about something specific prepare to get bent over :wink:

Couldn't agree more Random :)

You are asking about some VERY serious pieces.... be prepared for hefty price tags to follow.

Iona=Digital for sure
