Crazy Ebay Sold Ebay Auctions

Post by lickaneye » Thu Jun 23, 2011 10:02 am

Just noticed that a lot of crazy expensive ebay auctions were just recently sold. Is someone messing with these auctions or are these legit? It seems some of these auctions were reposted. Sort completed auctions by price and you'll see what I mean.

I hope members here will stop saying D. Chang's prices are too high. Apparently, he's selling all his items quickly, which means those prices were absolutely reasonable after all.

:-O

:-P

Smells fishy.
squt: Sweet! That's the best trade - one that doesn't cost a thing.

Seems like Mr. Chang wasn't the only one having to deal with the phantom bidder. Such is the world of Ebay. It probably was a hacked account rather than some reckless newbie.

Now if only someone would do this with all of tingxuan's items!

On another note, I kind of like the idea of some rogue ebay vigilante clearing out the chaffe that it so obv overpriced and never sells.

I have to agree it is nice to see someone clear out all those items.
Sad thing is most of them popped right back up.

lol that's the person that told me the Simplified Chinese 5th Edition Shivan Dragon was $50 since it was a misprint!

He passed on my counteroffer of $20, and I still think I offered to pay more than what it is worth.

This is why I asked if it was an ebay seller, as this is who I had in mind when you mentioned the overpriced shivan. Did he say it was a misprint because of the 'V' expansion symbol?

that and because it has the letter 'R' instead of a red mana symbol.

The V symbol was only on Simp Chinese correct?

I've had a few run-ins with Ting. Always expect a grade or four lower then the listed grade. Prices are wack as well but you guys already knew that.
