The post is asking the value, so it's rather meaningless to say you're interested and what price do I want.

You're free to make an offer, though I have somebody else interested in the cards, so naturally you'd have to make an offer better than him.

Considering nobody has actually given me a value yet (one of the more infuriating things about this website considering it's the "rarities" site), might as well.

I find this comment very irritating. Fishing for free estimates of value on hot, volitle cards so you can sell them is simply a business matter and not the purpose of this web site. We try help each other in a friendly way but to berate us because we won't do your work for you pi***s me off.

I hope no one makes you any offers or provides you any guide to values.

I am guilty of asking for values of items on this site.

I however do not berate people about it when they don't respond (poor form) and most times the question is in regards to lesser listed products or products with poorly scaled prices on eBay. I find it rather difficult believe you cannot find prices on Beta Duals considering how sought after they are by Type 1 and Type 1.5 players. I mean no disrespect by this, just saying.

Alpha and Beta aren't rarities -- they're a standard product.

Exactly, and we all do that to get valued opinions. However, expectations that we "must" stick our necks out because someone wants to sell something just rubs me the wrong way.
