Value: Weatherlight album
I just came across a weatherlight album in great shape along with all of the pages with pics of each card on it. Â
I was wondering if anyone knows what the value of such things are and if anyone collects them and is interesting in trading.
john
Edit: It also came with some pages made by ultrapro with "magic the gathering" imprinted on them.

Re: Weatherlight album
I have a few of these and most run between $6 and $10 on eBay. Prophecy, Exodus and Urza's Legacy Binders are on eBay quite frequently. The others are harder to find. I am somewhat interested but could only offer to buy it.

Re: Weatherlight album
I would agree with Rick21n's price estimates. I already have this particular album though. I also did not like trying to get these albums via mail because shipping is never cheap on these guys. Your best bet is to try and find someone locally by you interested in it imo.

Re: Weatherlight album
thanks guys....... sounds like I should just keep it and use it since its not worth much more than just some regular d ring binder from a card shop. I kinda figured that there couldn't be a whole lot of these floating around in perfect shape since it is almost 8 years old now. Oh well.

Re: Weatherlight album
I bet someone who's really into Weatherlight would pay 20 bucks or maybe even more for it, but finding one such collector is far more work than its worth, just keep it around. Someone might be searching franticly for one in a few years ;)
On a side note, I'm interested in the "Magic the gathering" ultra pro binder pages, if they are in nice condition.
If you'd be interested in trading them, drop me an email at titan_jc@hotmail.com , I'll see if I have something you want that'd make it worthwhile for you.

Re: Weatherlight album
Even though these are out of print, they never really went up in value...don't know why - I love the set-specific binders!
What does everyone else use now that they're out of print? I've purchased a few home-made ones, but I think the guy i used to buy from got shut down by WOTC. Hobby Japan makes set-specific binders now, but they're very hard to find. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi, squt
Here is Hobby Japan binders

But they are 4-Rings so Ultra-PRO 9 pockets(3 Holes) cannot be use.

Re: Weatherlight album
$225/ 13Binders == $17.30/ 1Binder
Its regular price is $18.50, so this is a little cheaper ;D

Re: Weatherlight album
simple laws of supply and demand. I spoke with Ultra Pro reps at a con to ask why binder production for M:TG had stopped. The rep I talked to said simply sales weren't hot on these. They could not justify producing an item and tying up a production line. They had also made attempts to produce them more cheaply to justify continued production. They had many problems where the plastic cover were peeling up off of the artwork padding. The end result was to discontinue the line. I personally liked them myself and have most of them. Never pursued them avidly, but bought them if I saw them.Even though these are out of print, they never really went up in value...don't know why - I love the set-specific binders!

Re: Weatherlight album
I'm one of those that gave up on binders. I kept having problems with pages sliding and putting cards in contact with the rings, or being creased by the weight of the binder. The final straw came when I bought a group of Beta cards, only to find a Lotus creased by one of the binder rings during transit (despite my request that the pages be removed and packaged seperately).
Now everything worthwhile gets sleeved and stored in boxes. It keeps me organized and cuts down on storage space.

Where have all the Magic sticker sets gone?
