service: permanent trading register

Post by Ralph Herold » Mon Jan 16, 2006 1:01 pm

Dear members,

In order to make the trading part of the forum easier to navigate, I wish to compress certain types of trading inquiries. In specific, I wish to create centralized lists of

- links to external have and want lists (outside of this forum)
- eternal search inquiries (items which are always wanted in endless numbers)

I will create a fixed thread both on the standard and the promotional item boards to publish these lists. Some rules might be applied at a later date to maintain functionality and to prevent abuse. If you have any trading inquiries which meet the above criteria and wish to be listed, just post in this thread.

Ralph: Although I put my wants list in my signature, having another permanent thread is a great idea. I use my eBay AboutMe page to track my current needs. Occasionally I look for other cards, but having these be so much easier to get, I don't bother posting them. I just stick with basically promo stuff on my page. Here is my link:

I have added almost all entries to the appropriate lists. I might have to restrict the number of entries per person in the list, but for now, no such limitation is required.

I have left out either very unprecise, very expensive, or very rare search inquiries. The first group is not helpful for somebody to read, as he does not understand what kind of item exactly is wanted. The second and third group are not suitable for listing, as they defy and blur the function of this list.

Any crimp, any rarity, card game, amount of crimping, condition, language, any card, as long as it's crimped.

You can add mine to the list of "normal" H/W lists, Ralph:

Suppose I should remind/mention that I collect Ornithopters. All shapes sizes and colors (ok really language/edition/printing).
