Trying to locate plastic sleeves

Post by berkumps » Sun Nov 11, 2007 7:28 pm

I'm looking for those clear plastic sleeves that fit MTG cards perfectly, and also fit inside deck protectors. I think they come from Japan, but I'm not sure? Anyone know where can I find these? I want to use them to prevent shuffle wear on the top of cards.

I've been on this quest for a long time. Finally thanks to the help of another member I was able to track these down. They are made by Yanoman and are called "Just Size" Card Protectors. If you read Japanese you can order them here:
http://www.yanoman.com/cgi-bin/shop/inv ... 5&mode=dtl

I haven't been able to determine yet if they will ship international. If anyone can help me (us) out with that, I could also use several thousand of these.

For those that aren't aware, these sleeves fit the exact dimensions of a Magic cards and slide cleanly into hard sleeves and/or 9-pocket pages. Ultra-Pro sleeves (the most common brand in the US) are slightly larger, just enough that they wrinkle when you put them in a 9-pocket page. It's really annoying.

I'm in for these, too! I really hope we have a Japanese contact who can help.

Yes. They are pretty cheap. And if we're lucky, we should be able to buy even cheaper by the case.

I don't have the one on the link but I do have these perfect fit series.

I can order bunch of them if members wants them. Currently I own 200, my friend who asked for it owns about 600.

The site currently says they will not ship internationally

It should be faster if members in japan can help us out.

My price are a bit more though, roughly $3~4/pack with shipping included

Hm, very nice, but I would need about 10.000 of them 8-| So I think I have to reject this idea...

Do you mean the cards + sleeve fit into for example a Ultra Pro sleeve?

Right.

Btw, if all of you cards are protected, it's 100% legal for tournement, at the bigining of each round you 'll heard "Are you playng 70 cards in your deck ?" :p

From the pics it looks like the ones you have fold over and seal on the top. That's pretty cool. I don't think the ones I linked to do that. They are just open on the top like a normal penny sleeve

That is pretty cool, your 're right, the fact that you can "close" the sleeve and seal it is the best way to protect cards.
