Is the Geoff Darrow Signature Legit?

Post by notsofasteddie » Thu Apr 03, 2008 1:15 pm

Here's an auction for a signed card from an artist that I don't have. Can anyone confirm that it is genuine?

Hi.
I do not own any from that Artist, but the first thing that hits me, is that he signed Darrov instead of Darrow :-O

This seller has ~497 autograhped MTG cards in his ebay store, and from the signature's I recognize, they look legit. So I don't see why some would be real, and some fake.

I hear you, Alexis!! It's one of the reasons that I was trying to get a confirmation.

Here's another auction:

Once again the signature isn't great and this time while the "W" is a little better, the "R's" are mangled.

Speaking of signatures to be confirmed, how about this one?

Another very hard to get signature, but this time from a very low feedback seller.

Hi Ed.
While looking on Google for that Artist, I find this link with a signature of him on it

Wonder if Rob Alexander's changed his signature?
I have 3 Shivan Reef's i got signed personally by him @ GP Nottingham a while back and the signature is different to the cards on that auction site.
Someone tell me how to post a scan (in like less than technical terms)and i'll see what i can do.

Rob Alexander often changes his signature, I have seen him sign with an "Alexand" but also with a shortened "Alex". Don't know if he also signs with the full "Alexander"

Fair enough Lizard, mine have 'Alex' closely followed by what looks like a large 'L'.
