MTG Print Runs (By Sets)

Post by Tenacious_Dyl » Fri Oct 17, 2008 8:46 pm

I thought it would be interesting to try to tap the resources in these forums to aggregate information about print runs of sets. Here goes what I have so far.

I'm also interested in figuring out what % of each print run is in each language that the set is offered in. I've already filled in all of the numbers that I can find or know, please contribute anything that you know!

Can you source your numbers please? This is great info, but better if we know the source.

Absolutely :)

The numbers I pulled from the mtgsalvationwiki and crystalkeep.com

(mtgsalvation had the official numbers, and sources for them at the bottom and crystal keep confirmed those numbers, and then provided the estimates that I listed (nonbold numbers)

Sometime around the release of Korean 4th I attempted to get some print run numbers and was politely told that WotC had instituted a policy of keeping all print run numbers confidential. Unless Hasbro has changed the policy I would consider any publication numbers suspect. I know people who know how many were printed. They will not tell me and I respect that.
