I run an ad in the classifieds in my local newspaper and a guy contacted me and said he had a collection that he wanted to sell for 200$. I met the individual and the first handful I looked at were dual lands and demonic tutors and sol rings. So I payed him 200$ and we both left happy. I guess you could say I ripped him off, but hes an adult and that was the price he requested. I actually could've offered him 100$ and I bet he would have taken it. He hadn't played in years and clearly didn't want/value the cards. Th collection actually contained a fair amount of other cards so its was a better deal 14 NM duals for 200 already was......

.....and yes some of the duals had blue in them. :-D
I'm looking for odd/rare Mind Twists.

Finally had an interesting trade today. Usually I have to value people's jace 2.0 at $20 to get them to leave me alone, but today I got to trade some of my shiny foils for my friends shiny foils and a flower. Here's what I got...

Is that the same Lotus, or a 2nd one?

Out of curiosity, what did you have to trade in for those cards?

I'd wager to guess he traded 4 of his arms and 3 of his legs... not quite sure how that worked out.

The only thing of note was a japanese foil dark confidant. The rest was just random lower end japanese foils and korean cards. It was a good deal of cards, but considering I got 90% of them at Worlds last month on the cheap it was a pretty sick deal for me.

I made a post in my Korean buy thread; I had a feeling I should have made a separate post. Sorry Richard; I did not ask him for his contact information but I believe kalimno (Ari) does have it.
