Booster Battle Packs

Post by magic-belgium » Mon Jul 16, 2012 10:43 am

I don't know if you noticed, but it looks like BBP will be available for large sets beginning from Return to Ravnica :-)

Let's see if these are released in several languages...

I sure hope they do a more "random" job on the decks in the future.

Several people bought these to see what was in them and they went over like a pay toilet in a diarrhea ward.

I think the idea has potential but most people conclude that it was better to buy 3 boosters and do the same thing. Lets see what happens.

I never heard of that expression. And I would be very grateful if you could explain it in other words :-D

It is excellent !

Looks like we don't have to wait till Return:

From the T&T website.

Manufacturer:
Wizards of the Coast
Description:
Magic 2013 (M13) Battle Booster Pack (MTG)
Each Battle Booster Pack contains 2 20-card, semi-random decks, 2 15-card Magic 2013 boosters, 1 learn-to-play guide, 1 rules insert.

Can't think of other words Magic-Belgium. Maybe substitute "they were as popular as" for "they went over like".

LOL When I posted that I never stopped to think about the fact that Europeans are quite accustomed to "pay as you go" bathrooms whereas they have mostly faded out here in the US.

This old expression basically translates as "very unpopular"

ok :-D

That's clearer now for me.

By the way, the concept of Battle Packs is nothing new. YuGiOh had them.

It is quite funny to see that WotC took quite a lot from YuGiOh marketing...

I'm pretty sure a pay toilet in a diarreah ward would make a mint. Actually, that gives me a sinister idea...

They will be available in other languages.

Intro packs however will then be released in English only except for Core Sets.
