New Filler card to be added on the website
Hi Members
A new filler card will be added to the website as soon as I get a HQ scan. Filler 004: Black Border Foil Filler Card with Holofoil Stamp
It was in place of Entreat the Angels in the From From the Vault: Angels box set
So 58 Filler cards now:

But, I don't understand why this filler is with the old card frame, and not the M15 one that is used on cards now ?

Is this your scan or the original ? I needed to recreate a filler in order to add it to the subsection as the original scan was so bad like this one especially the 2 black lines (the owner told me it was his scanner).

This is my scan. Not sure how to get the black lines to go away. If you have any pointers, let me know and I'll get you the best scan of it that I can :)dragsamou wrote: Hi Jason

Scanning regular foils is already a nightmare but a full foil even more, I'm puzzled at those 2 black lines, as I own a bunch of Foil Filler cards, but none with this type of lines, did you make a close examination of the filler, to check if it was not ink prints or else ? I try to play with full saturation and full brightness, this is what I get:

Upon close examination I do not see (or smell) any evidence of it ever having ink on it that was removed. The foiling is definitely different, but that's something we already knew about FTV foils. Here's a video showing it next to a normal foil filler (sorry it's upside down, cell phones are dumb and I'm too lazy to bring it into Premier to flip it): https://www.dropbox.com/s/a6clevy370moi ... s.mp4?dl=0dragsamou wrote: Hi Jason

I'm not really sure what the black bars are. They might be reflections of the scanner arm?

The Foiling of FTV is totally different versus regular foil. I watched your Psychadelic video, looks like the 2 black lines are definately on the card and not from scanning the card, but I have no answer to where they come from. But the one that I created and added on the website doesn't look like the original one that you own, so I think that I will need to work on yours instead and replace the other one.TheJGit wrote:Upon close examination I do not see (or smell) any evidence of it ever having ink on it that was removed. Got my hands on a jewler's loop. Very interesting looking at this filler a 30x and 60x magnification.
Here's a normal foil filler at 60x:
Here's the FTV filler at 60x:
Notice the surfacing difference between the two. The all foil filler has a textured surface where the FTV filler is flat. I'm also sure you've noticed the foil dot patterns on the FTV filler. That's probably the main reason for the difference in reflectivity shown in the video I posted above.
