Portal Three Kingdoms glossy variants in Two-player starter deck

While attempting to put together a P3K set, I noticed that several of the cards had glossier fronts than the rest. Upon further investigation I was able to determine that all of the cards were from the WUG Two-player starter deck that I had cracked open to get NM copies of those cards. Today I cracked another two-player starter for comparison and all the cards in the second WUG deck are also glossy. I've since acquired non-glossy copies of all these, which I assume come from boosters or precons. None of the cards in either BRG starter deck were glossy. Of note, I also cracked one of each of the three P3K precons and none of the cards in those were glossy, including the ones which overlap with the two-player starter.
